Benghazi Spice Mix

All Libyans know their classic staple spice blend as "hararat", but Eastern Libya has its own distinct twist on the mix. Spicy ginger, fragrant black pepper, and warming cinnamon are at the core of this mix, but the inclusion of wormwood, cardamom and rose petals make it distinct from other varieties.
